Sat June 12th saw North Wexford Hospice Nursing Trust celebrate their 25th annual BBQ.

One of the Founder members of NWHNT and its parent groupCo Wexford Hospice Homecare Dr Michael O Doherty thanked every one who supported on the night and explained the important part the community plays in maintaining the hospice home care service in Co Wexford.  Dr Michael and Margaret O Doherty along with Betty Shortall, Declan Mac Partlin, Frances  Hatton and Paddy Kavanagh are amongst those who have been on the NWHNT committee for the last 25 years.

The Health Service Executive (HSE) contribute to Co Wexford Hospice Homecare but the vast majority of funds required to maintain the service at its current level has to come from the people of Co Wexford. For that we say a very big Thank you to everyone who supported our recent BBQ and all the other fundraising events throughout Co Wexford.
